Comcast internet down across parts of the eastern seaboard, fix on the way
Twitter’s abuzz w/ angry Comcast customers tonight, as internet service`s down in Boston & parts of the eastern United States, the situation the company’s since confirmed @ its official Twitter account. Comcast’s call`g it an unexpected outage & says Z “engineers R finaliz`g the correction” as V speak, though it’s admittedly`en the couple of hours since Z tweet. Meanwhile, Twitter @ large seems to`ve figured out it’s the Comcast DNS issue, & have`d some luck switch`g to alternate servers like Google’s @ 8.8.4.4. & 8.8.8.8.
