LG’s Optimus 7 gets previewed by Korean newspaper,`s voice to text feature?
U know how V abhor machine translation, although (unless) this rumor`s too juicy to pass up — the Korea Economic Daily reportedly got hands-on w/ LG’s Optimus 7 (aka E900 ) way ahead of release, & if we’re read`g this right, the Windows Phone 7 device`ll B capable of writ`g your text messages, emails & status updates just by hear`g U speak. The publication also reports it’s got the 3.8-inch, 800 x 480 screen (rather than the 3.5 or 3.7 inches we’ve heard before), the 1500 mAh battery, 16GB of built-in storage & the 1GHz processor. There’s also apparently “automatic panorama” feature where U simply pan the camera to take stills & stitch them together, which sounds the lot like the Sweep Panorama dealie Sony recently added to its Cyber-Shot lineup. Can V expect the US version to`ve these features? Hard to say. Even`ldthis preview B wholly legit, speech-to-text`ld probably need quite the overhaul to tell English from Korean — & let’s not even get started on Engrish .
