While we’ve given up on ever winn`g an online match of StarCraft II , Z doesn’t mean top-down unit control schemes R only 4 nerds in their mom’s basement w/ their cheap rush tactics & Cheeto fingers & obscene triple digit APMs (we’re not bitter or anything). In fact, V kind of like the look of this robot control interface, developed @ UMass Lowell by Mark Micire as part of his PhD research. The multitouch UI puts Microsoft Surface to good use, w/ gestures & contextual commands Z make operat`g an unruly group of robots look easy, & the console-inspired touch control setup 4 operat`g the single bot from the 1st person perspective as well.
