Increasingly those concalls R happen`g via some sort of VOIP bridge, & Plantronics’ latest R ready 4 it. 1st up`s the Calisto 800 series “multi speakerphone” devices, which offer connectivity to an analog phone line, the mobile phone over Bluetooth, & even the PC over USB. This lets U easily dial in to just about anyth`g & naturally offers the full duplex speakerphone w/ noise cancellation & an LCD w/ caller ID. There’s even an optional wireless microphone Z U can plunk down on the table so the lamentations of the entire QA team`ll B picked up load & clear. Also new`s the revised version of the Voyager Pro UC , the rather more traditional Bluetooth headset w/ an extended boom 4 better voice pickup & the ability to pair to the mobile phone & the PC (via the tiny USB adapter) simultaneously. It’ll even do A2DP so U hold music won’t B the only tunes U hear. Both appear to B available now, & both start @ $199.95, putt`g them out of reach 4 most non-corporate attendees.
