I like my plasma because I never need to turn the radiator on for heating, the tv gives enough out
Got a 37inch panasonic plasma, 2 weeks time also getting 42inch samsung plasma,
Best to go for plasmas that have VGA, hdmi, digital optical ports all in one.
@Vl0LAT0R low viewing angle? Maybe the lcds that were built 10 years ago, my 42″ Toshiba can be seen from any angle in the room.
i notice a big difference between 1080p and 720p get 1080p. blu ray is the only way to go and cable comes in 1080 now as well
panasonics lose ther darks after only a few weeks…its a software glitch and a total rip off. dont buy a cheap tv-you do get what you pay for.
everyone watches tv in a dim lit room. nobody watches tv in a super bright room in which lcd would look better since its brighter. plasma is best
when it comes to plasma get samsung……….blows everything else away. Colors and resolution are best on samsung. plasma is cheaper then lcd but plasma is harder to find in s mall sizes but trust me…50in will soon be standard size. many 50in plasmas out there.
I have owned both and plasma is much better. you get a great picture at all and every angle. Also, plasma has a more relaistic picture. LCD is more computer like.
@Zacccc51 i disagree, for that reason game companies would not make 1080p games. i agree that some games look the same in 1080p and 720p, but there are alot of games that use the 1080p to their advantage example Gran Tourism 5, Dead space 2 and uncharted 3, only to name some. i have both an LCD and a plasma, but i find that the quality and color is alot more vibrant on a plasma, therefore more enjoyable to play.
@sephirotharsy6 Actually, it’s way overkill. PS3 only goes up to 720p quality. Anything above that won’t be used to it’s full potential. It really doesn’t matter if it’s plasma or not imo.
LCD is better for gaming cause you’re not constantly worrying about burn in
plasma best for gaming and movies, no doubt. got myself a 50″ lg plasma for 599 its freakin awesome!
The cheaper the tv, the more grainier it is? pfft
i hate the new tvs they suck ass. I have an old fat tv. and it does the job just fine
im thinking of buying a new TV, should i go for a plasma? theres one thats 50″ 600hz and 1080p, is that good for gaming? (PS3)
