PlayOn finally gets its iPhone app approved, HTML5 lets out the sigh of resignation
We’re lov`g this new, slightly more liberal wave of App Store approvals (aren’t V easily pleased?), & it looks like PlayOn drew the lucky number today. After wait`g in vain 4 an app approval, PlayOn actually developed the fairly sufficient HTML5 solution to its streaming-web-video-to-your-device problem, although (unless) there’s noth`g quite like the sheen & polish of the bonafide app. Unfortunately, PlayOn’s desktop software, which`s required to make this Netflix / Amazon / Hulu / ESPN / CBS / etc.-beam`g possible,`s still PC only.
