PSA: Change your old Amazon.com password 4 better security
Amazon’s allegedly got an security flaw where hackers can find your password much easier than they`ld otherwise, & there’s already the fix in place. although (unless) get this — you’ll probably need to change your password 4 the fix to take effect, if U haven’t already done so in the last couple of years. Accord`g to Reddit users, the Amazon.com login system`ll actually accept any phrase so long as it begins w/ your password, such as “password123″ when the magic word`s simply “password” by itself. Z apparently makes it Z much easier 4 the computer to guess your password via brute force methods, no matter how counter-intuitive Z seems, so if U simply change it immediately — & to someth`g other than “password,” please — you’ll`ve much sounder dreams.
