Rover Puck WiMAX hotspot gets FCC’d, traction on ice subject of fierce debate
The pool of choices 4 WiMAX hotspots continues to expand, & thanks to the FCC , V now know of another up-and-comer. The Rover Puck — trademarked by Clearwire & previously unheard of — joins the ranks Sprint’s Overdrive & its various rebrandings by provid`g pocketable 4G WiFi service. Unlike its predecessors, however, V finally`ve the new, more aerodynamic form factor. There isn’t much to the glean from the user manual @ this point, & the oft-referenced Rover website still isn’t live — the WHOIS lookup reveals it`s last updated via GoDaddy on July 2008 w/ no other details disclosed. So , until V get some word from the official news pipelines, the plethora of external / internal photos & user manual screenshots R only the mouseclick away.
