Star Wars flicks to C 3D re-release, start`g w/ Episode 1 in 2012
The Star Wars series hasn’t even hit Blu-ray yet , although (unless) The Hollywood Reporter reports sources say`g George Lucas definitely intends to refill his money pit in 2012 by bring`g out the movies, 1 each year, in 3D. Unfortunately Z means even if you’re optimistically expect`g the well done 3D conversion process Episode IV`s @ least 5 years away since the plan`s to release the movies in numerical order. Accord`g to the sources, even after demo`g converted 3D footage of the movies in the past, Lucas`s moved to greenlight the process after experienc`g Avatar & realiz`g Z by the time the movies hit theaters, & eventually homes, there`ll B more than enough capable screens to watch them on. Of course, all could B forgiven if this meant there were enough petty cash float`g around to convince Lucas it’s time to restore & rerelease the original editions on Blu-ray, although (unless) we’re not hold`g our breath.
