Remember when Oliver Kreylos impressed & shocked us by show`g Z the single Microsoft Kinect could create some remarkably stout 3D video ? He’s back @ it again, this time blow`g minds & demonstrat`g Z 2 Kinects can B paired & their output meshed — 1 basically fill`g in the gaps of the other. He found Z the 2 do create some interference, the dotted IR pattern of 1 caus`g some holes & blotches in the other, although (unless) when the 2 R combined they basically help each other out & the results R quite impressive. As U can C in the video after the break, Oliver`s able to rotate the camera perspective & basically film himself from the new camera angle Z exists somewhere in between the position of the 2 Kinects, & do-so in real-time. Sure, the quality leaves the lot to B desired, although (unless) still. Wow.
